About Me
I have always had a love for working with children, teaching and learning!
I received my BS in Education degree from Central Michigan University in May 2000. I spent a good deal of time in college. I loved it so much I graduated with 199 credit hours! So I have a major in elementary education with minors in child development and psychology. (I almost added an additional minor in communication disorders; I think I was only a few credits shy).

I am certified to teach regular education in North Carolina grades pre-k through 6th grade and special education pre-k through 12th grade. I have my early childhood endorsement even though I’ve found I love teaching at the Middle School level. At one point I was certified to teach in Michigan. However, since I love sunny warm North Carolina so much, I’ve allowed that to lapse. Sorry mom and dad, Michigan is a great place to visit but it’s too cold for me there.
